Add Video to your Twitter page with BubbleTweet

Kevin Sherman over at BubbleTweet has come up with an innovative way to add video to your own Twitter page. Enter a Twitter username on their home page and you get a prompt to add a video with your webcam. Notice I didn’t say ‘your’ username. Check out Housegirl’s page for an example of promoting someone else. Jer979 gives us an idea of what to expect if you follow him.
I like how this service can easily put a real face on your Twitter friends. This is just another step in bringing the cold, electronic internet into a warm and vibrant community.

While writing this article I experienced the infamous fail whale, yet the BubbleTweet video still played. Good job on giving the user something to do while the little birdies haul off the whale.
