About

Mesmer Lab is the gathering place of web technology information written and maintained by Jason Peltier. I have been in the web industry for over 10 years and love to keep up on new developments that makes my job and life easier.

I have attained degrees in Multimedia and Entertainment Business and use those skills to further my goals. I have gained experience in corporate, agency and freelance venues. I am currently exploring the blog universe and ways to use those technologies to passively tackle my monthly debts.

My portfolio will be added soon and show the range of projects from custom site designs, CMS projects, audio production and more. I am particularly interested in the challenge of design-to-HTML using various front-end technologies including CSS, javascript frameworks and custom administration interfaces.

I dabble in emerging technologies and frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Java, Drupal, and Sharepoint. For a change of pace when I need a break, I satisfy my creative urges with audio production.

My current goals are to expand my freelance contracts and develop this site into a viable source of web development technology information.
